Private Functions

Equinox Room and Wine Bar is available for private function, conference or party seven days a week for lunch and from Sunday thru Wednesday for dinner. The Equinox Wine Bar is also available for private cocktail hours any day of the week.

The Equinox dining room and bar is located in the back of Bentara Restaurant dining room. Entrance is from Center St. and thru Bentara dining room. Having a totally separate bar and dining room, presents an elegance to your event. Leisurely start with a cocktail reception with appetizers and dine in a table cloth setting in the dining room.

Appetizers

  • Popia (Spring Rolls)
    Four thin spring rolls wrapped around a mixture of cabbage, bean sprouts, tofu, carrots, onions, cucumber and deep fried till golden brown. Served with sweet hot sauce
  • Chanai
    Unleavened ghee(clarified butter) bread fried on a griddle. Served with curry sauce

  • Mee Goreng
    Stir fried egg noodles with bean sprouts, cabbage, shredded carrots and sawi - mustard green flavored with soy sauce, tomato sauce, garlic, onions and topped with condiments
  • Mee Hoon Goreng
    Stir fried thin rice noodles prepared in the same manner
  • Goreng Kicap (Two Soy)
    Wok fried in two different soy sauces (sweet and salty) with slivered onions, broccoli, asian long beans and green peppers
  • Rendang
    Slices of beef/chicken or tofu, slivered onions, coconut milk and flavored with lemon grass
  • Kelantanese Kerutuk
    Simmered in a mixture of spices (coriander, fennel seed, cinnamon, cardamom, star anise and chilies) with baby potatoes and coconut milk.
  • Coconut Curry
    Served with asian eggplants, green peppers, tomatoes, potato, carrot, baby bok choy, asian long beans
  • Ayam Percik (BBQ Chicken)
    Grill marinated boneless breast of chicken and baste with housemade coconut tumeric and lime BBQ sauce
  • Goreng Pedas
    Slices of beef/chicken or mix of tofu, chinese eggplants, carrots, green peppers, green beans, marinated in tumeric and salt, wok fried with slivered onions, potatoes and green beans in hot and spicy sauce (hot chilies, shrimp paste and tomato sauce)
